Finding an in-person herbal program can be tough. I know! When I started taking herbal courses, I looked for a program that included everything I needed in order to understand the basics of herbalism from a holistic perspective AND preferably one I could attend in-person since I’m a hands-on, interactive learner.
My next option was to find an online program that had definitive start date that I could take with other students at set dates and times.
Sadly I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for, but I’m not one to give up on my dreams, so I ended up taking a self-paced program.
It wasn’t easy! I worked hard to keep myself focused and moving forward. Sometimes I felt like the only herbal student out there and it was lonely.
So many situations came up in life that made it difficult to keep on task; some days it was sheer will power that kept me going, and on those days I had no deadlines nor other students to help keep me motivated.
That is what spurred me on to start an in-person program in 2018.
In 2020 our focus was on growing our online program – many people prefer or need to have a more flexible schedule and want to learn on their own time, that program is PERFECT for them (you can find that here) but for those of you who are like me, we’re offering the live class again.
Because we want to accommodate as many students as possible, we decided to add Zoom as an option as well. This way, if you want to follow along while taking class in your pajamas, you can!
You’ll still follow the set out schedule, interact with the class, ask questions, and learn in real time.
This program will follow the same basic format as our online program so all 18 sessions are covered. PDF handouts and quizzes will be available for you to access online before we meet in order to maximize class time.
We are excited to be starting this program again and can’t wait to meet our newest students!!
**If you are currently enrolled in the online Fundamentals program (for less than 12 months) and wish to apply the tuition you’ve paid thus far to the live program, please contact us. If you have been enrolled longer than 12 months we will not apply more than 1/2 of your tuition toward the live program, the exact amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Are you wanting to explore a way to reduce your tuition? – refer another student to the program joining with a friend is always a great way to spread the herbal love and optimize your learning. If your friend enrolls, you will receive a $100 discount to the program (this only applies to the live Fundamentals program not to online programs – in that case you need to apply to become an affiliate)

Tuition
Your investment for the entire program is $1495 ($1349 for zoom students)
Payment plans are available. Payments &/or full tuition payment are for reserving your spot and no refunds will be given for any portion of the tuition. You are committing to pay the entire tuition amount when you enroll.
Reduced Tuition
If you recruit other students into the program (we highly encourage joining with a friend) you’ll get $100 off your tuition for each person who enrolls in either the in-person or the live Zoom class. At any time you can choose to apply that to another student’s tuition.
Our class will meet in Cocolalla, Idaho on our 40 acre homestead, during the snow season we will meet in Sandpoint, Idaho from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time
**If we end up cancelling a class due to weather, we will extend the program into August to make up for those days.
In-Person Students
Some assignments (herbal preparations, plant ID exercises & presentations) will be done in class so you’ll need to bring materials with you in order to complete them. We’ll be providing items like herbs, beeswax, emulsifying wax, & hydrosol but all alcohol, oil, jars, wild-crafting tools, baskets, paper, writing utensils, notebooks, sketch pads, magnifying glass, tweezers, and so on will need to be brought to class.
Zoom students will need to purchase their own supplies to complete the assignments
Either way we will provide a list for each class so you are properly prepared for the assignments.
